STUDENT SUPPORT PROGRAM
XXVIII Mexican Congress of Robotics
The Mexican Association of Robotics and Industry A.C. (AMRob) supports student participation in the Mexican Congress of Robotics (COMRob) in several ways each year.
Student presenters are offered a lower registration fee, as well as the opportunity to participate in the best student paper award (Dr. Rafael Kelly Award). In addition, they may participate in the best Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD thesis award.
Student Support for Conference Registration
| Student | Fee |
|---|---|
| Presenter* | $3,000.00 MXN |
| Thesis Award Participant | $800.00 MXN |
| Attendee | $350.00 MXN |
* Includes gala dinner admission and welcome kit.
Registration payment for XXVIII COMRob 2026 includes one year of AMRob membership (November 2026 to October 2027), as well as priority for workshop registration; however, workshops have limited capacity, so interested participants must complete the corresponding registration for the workshop of their choice.
Best Student Paper Award (PhD. Rafael Kelly)
AMRob invites student members of the Association to submit papers with results obtained during their studies. Submitted papers will be evaluated with the same rigor as any other submission; however, accepted papers will also be evaluated by a committee composed of the current president and former presidents of AMRob.
This committee will evaluate the paper, the oral presentation, and the quality of its technological contribution to the field of Robotics. One winner will be selected in each of the Master's and PhD categories and will receive a recognition and, if budget is available, a financial award.
AMRob Award for Best Completed Thesis
AMRob invites members of the Association who defended their thesis between September 1, 2025 and August 30, 2026, in the categories of Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD, at Higher Education Institutions in our country.
The AMRob Best Thesis Award aims to recognize the research carried out by graduates of national higher education institutions to obtain their academic degree, as well as to strengthen its application in the development of Mexican robotics.
